Major Research Achievements

Since this group was established in two years ago, we have synthesized 11 new NKT cells phospholipid antigens. By collaboration with De Libero group (Basel Hospital, Swiss), these antigens were proven to be the endogenous antigen for NKT maturation inside thymus. We also developed an efficient methodology to construct the pyrroloindole skeleton and are utilizing this method to synthesis of the related natural products such as Ardeemin.
