ZHAO Jinhua, Professor of medicinal chemistry and pharmacology. Major research interests are development of innovative drugs from natural products and their derivatives, isolation and structure elucidation of bioactive natural products (e.g. sulfated polysaccharides, glycoconjugates, carbohydrates, and oligosaccharide), mechanism of anticoagulation and antithrombotic drugs and protein-drug interactions. The favorite direction is thrombus diseases including arterial, venous thrombosis and stroke.
