  SUN Hang, Professor of botany. Major research interests are alpine plant diversity studies, especially the flora composition features, system and evolution, geographic distribution patterns and ecological adaptation mechanisms of diverse alpine plants in Sino-Himalayan region.

Major Research Achievements
Within the last five years (2006-2011), we have predominance on the collection of plants specimen and related data in alpine belt of the Hengduan Mountains and Tibetan Plateau at home and abroad.
