The Alpine Plant Diversity Research Group is a scientific research team mainly composed of young scientists established by professor Sun Hang. The research group is based on the world's third pole - the Hengduan Mountains and the Himalayas in Southwest China, facing the polar regions and the world's high mountains; relying on the Key Laboratory for Plant Diversity and Biogeography of East Asia , Chinese Academy of Sciences, based on macrobiological research, with the origin, occurrence and distribution pattern formation of plant groups as the core, and the evolution and adaptation mechanism of species populations as the starting point, we advocate multidisciplinary interdisciplinary, macro and micro integration; It also provides biological evidence for exploring the environmental evolution of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
